The original building was completed in 2007; accommodating new x-ray facilities, mammography and ultra-sound amenities and their support spaces. In 2009 the addition of new CT and MRI imaging suites and some minor internal refurbishments was carried out. In 2018 an additional MRI was added to the existing building which involved significant internal alterations.
